Brittany & Jeff had an AWESOME Wedding at Thousand Hills Ranch June 15th!

This was another one I will keep in mind when People ask me about some of the Best Weddings I've ever been part of. The Bride and Groom are about as country as it gets, hard working  horse riding, barrel racing crazy people who also packed the floor with classic rock, Hip Hop and mainstream dance under a huge Gobo image we provided in light of their new BRAND, how cool is that? Over a year ago, we started this process with them and we were given to a coordinator Named Katie Baca. (805-458-3973), This girl is no joke..... She took a team of vendors and along with the Bride helped create an event that included 225 + guests from all over. The size alone was a big job but she managed to keep everything on track and rolling, every Wedding will have it's own challenges and It just takes an eye for the flow of the night that not everyone has, she nailed it. Good Job Katie! I'll work with you any time. If you're a "Bride to be" planning a Wedding always have a strong coordinator who gets you and your style. It also has to be said that once again we were blessed with a Bride & Groom who really participated in every aspect of the Day. The success and the fun started with them which made the night Rock, it's just cool when it goes like that. Crazy Fun with Crazy people always works out to be .. well Crazy..lol
Two very cool Families and a ton of close friends were recorded in pictures by another amazing Photographers, this time Dana from Blessed Beyond Belief Photography.  http://www.blessedbeyondbeliefphotography.com/  We love working with a pro who takes care of the Bride & Groom in every part of the process, she's great to work with and always a smiling face along the way, but her pictures speak for themselves. Simply put She captures the mood of the day.
The Food was provided by Thousand Hills Ranch and it was fantastic, this location lends itself to having great food, I mean, it is a Cattle Ranch..lol THR is quickly becoming one of the best locations on the Central Coast to get married if it isn't already. It's beyond beautiful and is 2000 acres of paradise.... owned and shared by one of the nicest families I've ever met. It is the Wow factor by itself.
The ceremony was held in a pasture close by that serves as open space on the Ranch. The ceremony was presided over by a Family friend who was clearly moved by the moment. The Bride came down the isle to a country song called "Makin' Plans" which was perfect for the day and the Girl.
The guests were then moved into the huge Barn for cocktail hour, which was made to look incredible with a touch of country style that rivals anywhere we've seen. The B&G joined us later after the pics and came in to the Grand Entrance to the song "Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy!" ...lol We then went into the 1st dance which was a Jamey Johnson song called "It Was Me" My reason for giving you the names of the songs is to give other Brides a chance to find that style, this was really different, really cool wedding and VERY fun. Congratulations Gamble's you had the best send off anyone could ask for, now go live Happily ever after......& Thanks for letting Me be part of your amazing day on the Ranch.  ... DJ Bob

The Fun they wanted, their way! Ali & Chris 6.1 at Grace Maralyn Estate & Gardens

A Hot Day, 160 guests, A Bride & Groom who wanted "THE DAY" and something that just worked. They had a dream team of vendors Led by Terry the coordinator and a venue with one of the best Central Coast Vibe's I know. Their Venue was The Grace Maralyn Estate & Gardens www.thegracemaralyn.com , A Modern Victorian with a wonderful set up. "The Day" was to include a pairing of live music and our part was to create a dance floor  experience that rivals a night club inside a barn, but starting while the sun was still up on the hottest day yet this year (around 100). With any other event the heat might have gotten to them, but not this group, From the ceremony to the Last Song this thing went off!
I was pared with one of the best musicians I've ever worked with, his name is Matt Bolton www.mattbolton.com  , Imagin a guy performing Everything from Tom Petty to his own cuts and just nailing it. He did the Ceremony music & the Cocktail Hour (with signature martini's flowing all around) and was incredible! What a great way to kick off this event. While we were listening to Matt, another great vendor was doing his thing, Ken Kienow The photographer.
( http://www.kenkienow.com ) he's one of my favorite people in this business and when we work together, it's bound to be a blast. His pictures speak for themselves but I put just as much importance on the kind of person he is, and great is great.
We went on to a great Buffet style dinner prepared by Phil's Catering, http://www.philscatering.com with "Perky" and the rest of their crew working hard and getting it done in the heat. The food was perfect for this day, just enough and very tasty!
After a great dinner, it was time to rock this party! We played everything on the map, from Mainstream and Hip Hop to Country and Rock and the floor stayed packed until the very end of the night. I had to pull every skill I have to make this night what it was but the Bride and Groom did what We suggest to Every bride and Groom, make it "Fun with Style" Be part of your Day! If you are planning a Wedding, the most important thing to the success of the day is to  be vested in what you're creating. In other words, If you're having fun, so will your guests.  The dance floor was packed and just going off at 10 when we ended, what a day, This was "The Day" for one of our amazing couples.
