What a NIGHT! The SLO women's shelter Annual Fund Raiser at Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo

Huge Crowd during the Auction  at The Expo Center
This our 4th year donating a performance to support the "Phyllis Madonna Musical Review" raising money for the S.L.O. Women's Shelter. They're always fun, always a huge showing of people and I'll just say it, they're exactly what living in San Luis Obispo is supposed to be about. This year however was different, bigger (over 650 people just at the Saturday night show), it included a show that can only be described as awesome. They managed to make fashion, dance, live singing and lip sync into a truly entertaining, fun and amazingly high energy night. The crowd was a who's who of SLO politics, business and social life with people like Phyllis Madonna,  Sheriff Ian Parkinson and his wife Amy,  Supervisor Adam Hill, Assemblymen Katcho Achadjian, Former Senator Sam Blakeslee,  Dr. Renee Bravo, County Supervisor Bruce Gibson, Aaron and Erin Steed with Evan Steed, Angela and friends (some of our favorite people), The KSBY TV news anchors John Reger and Jeanette Trumpeter and crew, A whole bunch of Twissleman Family members, and on and on and on.
Mixing for a full dance floor!
Our job at this event is the Party at the end of both nights, we get to be the music and MC for what can only be described as a HUGE dance party. While the staff at Madonna Inn is hard at work, we rock every kind of music and keep the dance floor jumping and drinks flowing till the end of the night. This is fun no matter how you look at it and we had a blast. I love mixing for this kind of crowd and they have so much fun, it's just awesome to be a DJ on these nights. The fact that it's also raising money for an amazing cause makes it just that much more incredible. ........Great Job Phyllis....Again!
